Vintage long hand-knotted Akoya pearl necklace (high grade, round salt water pearls) with a sterling silver fish clasp
62cms, good condition, minor discolouration to thread from wear but all knots are firm. Can be re-knotted on white silk for $40
Fits over your head for easy of taking on & off. Can also switch to a lobster or gold filled clasp if you prefer (more secure than the fish clasp)
I have these a gentle clean before this shoot done in a bit of a rush against the sunset, the few brown spots of dirt noticed if you zoom in these photos have easily cleaned off since, without any damage to the pearls. More pics available on request x
